How did the Jacklin print come about?
I draw a lot of inspiration from experiences and emotion. Life in itself holds so much inspiration! Creating through different phases and experiences is an incredibly fulfilling process. The Waves/Jacklin design was created during a time of growth and self love, learning to let go and focusing on all that is good. Like a person leaning back and letting the waves of the ocean gently wash over them, sweeping off anything that’s not conducive to positivity and instead drawing energy and contentment near.
What does this collab with Bravery Co. mean to you?
Being a part of such an incredible collaboration is truly humbling and so rewarding. I have been a huge fan of Slowdown Studio for a long time and am so grateful for their constant support and encouragement of artists. The same can be said of Bravery Co. The encouragement and helping women feel beautiful and strong is apparent throughout Bravery’s vision. Nothing is more fulfilling than collaborating with creatives that support a greater cause, focusing on helping people and coming together.
Do you have any messages for the warriors that will be wearing the beautiful scarf?
I hope from the bottom of my heart, that you feel as beautiful as you truly are, that you feel strong, confident and proud of the powerful woman you are. Most importantly I hope that you have no doubt in your mind, that whatever it is that you set your focus on, you can do anything! I look up to every one of you. Thank you for showing the world what true grace, strength and pure genuine beauty, inside and out, looks like. ❤️
