Karen's work feels like it comes from a fairytale. Her hand painted florals and wildlife are delicate and have a beautiful quietness to them. She paints from a spiritual place and that is totally reflected in her pieces.
Flow and Soul has a moving story behind it which was actually inspired by her Karen's own personal medical challenges. I knew when I saw her work and understood the meaning behind her work that it needed to be made into a Bravery scarf.

We love your soft and dreamy hand painted florals and wildlife! Can you tell us about your work and creative process?
I love to look at something and feel it, the energy, the story that comes with it. And I think nature is the base of it, when you look at it, you are receiving emotions, messages, history.
How did the 'Flow and Soul' print come about? Where did you find your inspiration?
This idea actually came a little from my own experience, a couple of years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy. It came in a moment when there was a lot going on inside of me. I always had a hard time making myself a priority, to look after myself. So, look at yourself, love yourself, healing comes from inside out. We must give the chance to open portals to really get to know us, to respect us.
What does this collab with Bravery Co. mean to you?
OMG! I'm so happy with this collab. I think Emily is such a strong woman and I know that sharing her story and of other women through Bravery has helped a lot of people out there and I feel honored and grateful to be able to be part of that story. I couldn't thank you enough!
Do you have any messages for the warriors that will be wearing the beautiful scarf?
Never forget to love yourself. Just feel, when you feel the need to cry, don't hold it back but when you want to feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, just go for it and be. All the energy will be there with you!
